What a Saturday I had! Deepa & Colin’s Wedding extravaganza (there really is no other word for it) was a festival of colour, fragrance, vibrance, cultures and most importantly…love.
After the Catholic blessing ceremony on Thursday night, we rolled into Doltone House @ Sylvania for the Hindu Wedding Ceremony, performed in Sanskrit. It was a fantastic experience and wonderful to see family and friends from both sides embracing the traditions and values of each religions. It was a terrific ceremony with non-stop action! i felt blessed to have been there to capture every moment.
After the ceremony and lunch was finished, I raced home to put together a slideshow that was screened at the reception that evening. We trekked through the Nurses Walk for photos, before arriving at Doltone House, Darling Island Wharf Pyrmont. As usual, Doltone House did not dissapoint and put on a reception fit for a Maharaja.
Congratulations Deepa & Colin, your wedding was certainly something very special and the perfect way for me to kick off my wedding season!
