Kate & Sid – 20th October 2012

I had a lovely time at Kate and Sid’s wedding on Saturday. Another fantastic blending of cultures, this time Sid’s Indian heritage flavoured the reception (no really, Indian cusine and all – YUM!!!!) as everyone got into the spirit.

After a heartfelt ceremony at St Andrew’s Anglican in Cronulla, we schlepped around Darook Park and Blackwoods beach before making our way to the reception at North Cronulla Surf Club.

How did you get engaged: We met at medical school. We were on placement during final year medicine in Griffith, NSW and for a single week we went to remote Hay NSW. This was where Sid got down on one knee at the sunset lookout (Hay is a hugh plain and known for it’s amazing sunrise and sunsets) and asked me to marry him. I said yes of course.
