I had a delightful end to last week. I drove up to the Hunter Valley to shoot Josien & Adrien’s Friday wedding on Thursday afternoon. After a quick visit to Peterson’s Champagne House (well, when in Rome…) I was invited to join the bridal couple and their families for a BBQ dinner that night which was fabulous. The next morning I left my accomodation at the Potters Brewery and drove up the road a bit to the Greg Norman designed and very lavish “The Vintage” Golf resort. There in the Summerhouse, Josien & Adrian held their nuptuals which were officiated by the every delightful Lillian Lyon. Under a sapphire blue sky, Adrian shed a tear or two when the vision of his Bride appeared and walked down the aisle. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house!
We then hopped on our chariots (golf carts) and were chauffered to the neighbouring Bimbadgen Estate Winery for some photos. After a lovely photo-tour of the golf course, we ended the shoot in the luxurious Cafe at the Chateau Elan. Josien & Adrian’s intimate afternoon reception was just delightful and I enjoyed catching up with a heap of familiar faces from Jodi & Mark’s wedding that I shot in Jan last year.
Congratulations Josien & Adrian, it was wonderful to see you both again and have me shoot your wedding in such a spectacular location. Enjoy your married life back in Dubai and I hope to see you both again before too long! Adrian, the Panamera was an awesome addition to the day, but next time, bring the turbo please 😉
